Our Team

Preston graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas with a BBA in Finance and a minor in Photography. Prior to joining Capital Strategies, Preston worked as part of Ernst & Young’s Technical Accounting Advisory Group in Dallas, Texas, specializing in stock-based compensation and business combinations.  Preston then transitioned to work as a Financial Analyst at BVA Group, a valuation and financial advisory firm, where he assisted in Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) valuations, including formation and annual update engagements, as well as estate planning and tax valuation projects.  Preston returned to Austin in 2026 to be closer to family and to join his father in further developing his practice at Capital Strategies.
